Surprise Lettuce Wraps for Small Animals
Great for your hammie's birthday present!
Ingredients
1 small lettuce leaf
1 small slice of your hamster's favorite fresh fruit or vegetable (a baby carrot, a thin slice of apple, or a small piece of celery work best)
1 long piece of small animal alfalfa hay
How To
1- Take lettuce and put your choice of fruit
or vegetable inside.
2- Wrap the lettuce leaf around the fruit or vegetable.
3- Tie it shut with a piece of Small Animal alfalfa hay! Trim ends of alfalfa if the tied ends are long.
Place in your hamsters cage, and watch him/her devour it's Lettuce Wrap!
Compliments to the Chef!
Don't give this wrap to your small pet very often. Too many treats can indeed make your pet sick. Feed your small pet this Lettuce Wrap no more than once every two-three weeks, with seldom treats in between!
Your hamster won't eat the whole thing at once (their stomachs are very small) so make sure you remove the vegetables that your hamster doesn't eat the next day so they don't rot.
