HammieLand version 1.0, Rainbow Hammies
HammieLand version 1.0 Rainbow Hammies was very messy and confusing. It used tables, which I hated. It didn't have much content, no splash page, and no back buttons!
HammieLand version 2.0, A Hammie Tea Party
Version 2.0 A Hammie Tea Party was a cute, pink layout featuring my hamster Toastie. It had a blog, a splash page, and used frames. It had the Me, You, Site layout, and was much more organized, but it still didn't have much content. It was alright, but it didn't last long. I don't know what it was, but I just didn't like it. When people asked why, I couldn't tell them. There was no reason I could put in words.
HammieLand version 3.0, Hammie Heaven
Version 3.0 Hammie Heaven was my favorite layout and it was kept up for 9 months. It has the Me, You, Site layout, and it is very plain and simple. Easy to navigate, simple frames, and good colors. I felt like more of me is put into it's making then the previous two layouts. I drew the main image of the whole layout, which was a pixel-ish castle image map (based on Sleeping Beauty's castle at DisneyLand, CA), as opposed to photos, or just a title as the main image.

Version 4.0 Candy Hamu was cute. The main images were stationary scans. I loved the hammies, but the navigation wasn't as creative as version 3. The pink text with black links was cute, but I think it drew a lot of attention to the links. But I liked the hover effect. I definitely liked how the splash stuff is inside, not cluttering the entrance. Pop-ups don't work well for everyone's browsers, but I'm sick of dealing with screen resolutions.
HammieLand version 5.0, Sunny
Version 5.0 Sunny was an iframes layout featuring an adorable hammie drawing that was donated to me. I added in background and plant navigation, and it was very colorful and attractive. The trouble was that if you don't have IE then some aspects of the layout did not look right. I was also worried that the plant navigation was confusing, since it was not labeled. Other than those things, I was happy with the general outcome of the layout and kept it up for nearly two years.
HammieLand Blog
A temporary blog site for HammieLand Version 3.0 Hammie Heaven. It was a black, gray, and white themed, and featured a dark sable Djungarian dwarf hammie (like Toastie).
HammieLand LiveJournal
Sorry, no screenshot available
A temporary LiveJournal for HammieLand Version 3.0 Hammie Heaven. It featured Sanrio's Kuririn the hamster and his wife and kids. This was created a while after I deleted the blog. I did not use livejournal.com; I made it myself. Sorry, no screenshot available.
