Hammie
Hamsters are cute, cuddly, soft-furred, large-cheeked, popular pets. The most common types of hamsters are Syrian, Golden, and Dwarf. I specialize in Dwarf hamsters, so I know the most about them over any other breed. The four breeds of Dwarf Hamsters include:
-Siberian/Winter White (Russian)
-Djungarian/Campbell's (Russian)
-Roborovski
-Chinese

Hamsters come in a huge variety of colors, depending on the type and breed of hamster. For example, Roborovskii Dwarfs come in a range of sandy-brown colors to apricot-orange colors. Roborovskii Dwarfs have a white patch above each eye and don't have a dorsal stripe. Siberian Dwarfs come in a selection of gray shades. These include White (pictured above), Wild Type (gray, black dorsal stripe, white underside), and Opal (bluish gray, white underside).
*Note* As you may already know, handling your hamster daily is very important. Remember to wash your hands with non-scented soap before and after holding your hamster. If you don't wash them before, you might have scents on your hands, causing your hamster to bite you! If you don't wash your hands after, you will spread your hamster's germs that are on your hands into your body and might make you sick!
